How to register

At Extraman we are always looking for new people to join our organisation. It is not necessary that you have any existing skill or experience in the industrial warehouse, construction or events fields, however, this is always helpful.

Any aspiring candidate must have a good command of English, the right to work in the UK and have a pro active attitude.

If you are interested in joining Extraman, then please contact the Extraman office where our consultants will arrange a date and a time for you to visit for a face to face interview that will assess your availability and suitability for the work we offer.

You will be required to bring either your passport, ID Card or Work Permit (which ever may apply to you), your National Insurance Number and Bank Account Details (of you or a friend). If you do not have access to a bank account Extraman can arrange payment by cheque, however there is a nominal fee. See Helpful Information for a list of valid Right to work Documentation.

Extraman can only pay PAYE and accordingly are responsible for the deduction and payment of National Insurance Contributions and Income Tax. Extraman do not supply work to Self-Employed candidates.

AFTER REGISTRATION

We will then inform you of all the current opportunities available and also explain "how Extraman works", covering when you should call for work, what type of PPE or uniform you may require, your holiday pay entitlement and whether you need to comply with the Workers Registration Scheme. This information is explained in a document ‘Temporary Workers Guidelines'.

This document will be handed to you at the end of your registration along with a copy of your Terms of Engagement. This is based upon the standard Terms as provided by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation of which Extraman are members. These Terms explain all aspects of your entitlements and what Extraman expect of you in return.
