Increased wages on the way

The government has announced that the National Minimum Wage for those 25 and over, will rise from £8.21 per hour to £8.72 per hour from April. This is a 6.2% increase, and the largest NMW rise for many years.

At Extraman, all staff earn at least the minimum, regardless of age. Most earn more, and those that do are all likely to see their pay rise as well over the course of the year.

In addition to basic pay, holiday pay also accrues at a rate of 12.07% of earnings for all Extraman staff.

We will know when the budget is announced in March, if the tax threshold will rise, which could bring an extra bonus in terms of net pay.

There has probably never been a better time to work as a temp for Extraman, with demand high and wages escalating.
